**Quick answer — What should I know before buying an eSIM with no ID?**

UnlistedSIM offers an eSIM without ID or email at checkout, from $1.09, with a random account number for login. Updated October 2026: plans are data only, paid from a crypto balance topped up from $10. Country activation rules remain separate, and mobile networks still see device identifiers and approximate location.

## Buying without ID

### Is there an eSIM that doesn't require ID?

Yes. UnlistedSIM sells data-only eSIMs with no ID document, no ID number, no selfie and no email at checkout, paid in crypto, from $1.09. A random account number is your login. Some countries require ID for SIM cards sold locally; the [Travel eSIM ID Registry](https://unlistedsim.com/travel-esim-id-registry/) shows what each law covers and what is documented for a travel eSIM in roaming.

### What does "no KYC" mean at UnlistedSIM?

It means no identity check at purchase: no ID document, no ID number, no selfie and no email. It does not change what happens on the network or under local law. The network you connect to still sees your device and its approximate location, and some countries require ID for local SIM cards. If a local network ever required an ID check for a destination, that plan page would say so before you pay. Level by level: [no-KYC eSIM](https://unlistedsim.com/no-kyc-esim/).

### Is an UnlistedSIM eSIM anonymous?

No. No-ID checkout does not hide the phone from mobile networks: they still see subscription and device identifiers and approximate location. We keep no ID document or required email, but account, order and payment records exist. See [who sees what](https://unlistedsim.com/who-sees-what/) and [the data list](https://unlistedsim.com/what-we-collect/).

### Do I need an account?

Yes, but it holds no name, email or phone number. A random account number is generated at checkout and is your login; no email is needed to log in. The account keeps your balance, your orders and the QR codes of your eSIMs. You may add an email in the client area for receipts, reminders or recovery of the account number; it stays optional. Keep the account number safe.

### Do I need a selfie or a face scan?

No. UnlistedSIM never asks for a selfie, a face scan or fingerprints. Biometric checks exist for local SIM cards in some countries: South Korea, for example, checks new local lines by facial recognition or a mobile ID app since 6 July 2026, according to the Korea Times. Those rules target lines sold in the country. Country by country: [Travel eSIM ID Registry](https://unlistedsim.com/travel-esim-id-registry/).

### How do I buy an eSIM without an email?

Pick a plan, top up your balance in crypto from $10, and wait for the network confirmations. The eSIM is bought from the balance, and its QR code and activation code appear in your account as soon as it is ready. Install it on Wi-Fi before you leave. Step by step: [how it works](https://unlistedsim.com/how-it-works/).

## Privacy and data

### What data do you keep about me?

Four groups: the account number and its balance, your orders and eSIMs, the status and data used of each eSIM as reported by our partner network, and for each top-up the coin, the network, the amount and the transaction ID. The client area also lists your logged-in devices. An email, a password and two-factor authentication are optional. We hold no name, phone number or ID document. Field by field: [what we collect](https://unlistedsim.com/what-we-collect/).

### How long do you keep my data?

Orders are kept as long as your account exists, so the QR code can be shown again and refunds can be credited, then deleted with the account. When you delete your account, the account number, its orders and its balance are erased; the published deletion rule names no other item. Each item and its retention rule is listed on [data retention](https://unlistedsim.com/data-retention/), and the fields themselves on [what we collect](https://unlistedsim.com/what-we-collect/).

### Can I delete my account?

Yes, on request from your account, at any time; the account number, its orders and its balance are then erased. Deletion is final: any balance left on the account is erased with it and is not paid out, so spend it first. Remove the eSIM profiles from your phone only once their plans are finished, because a deleted profile may not install again.

### Can an eSIM be tracked?

Yes, by the mobile network, like any SIM. The network you connect to sees your device identifier (IMEI) and its approximate location from the cell towers, and it carries your traffic. An eSIM bought with no ID removes the identity link at purchase, not the network's view of the device. Each party and what it sees: [who sees what](https://unlistedsim.com/who-sees-what/).

### Which country will my IP address be in?

It depends on how the plan is routed, and we have not yet published it plan by plan. With home routing, the IP address comes from the network that issued the eSIM, often in another country; with local breakout, it comes from the visited network (IETF). This decides which country websites see. Status per plan: [exit-IP registry](https://unlistedsim.com/exit-ip-registry/).

### Do you log IP addresses or use analytics?

Visitor IP addresses are not written to our web server access logs and are never attached to an account. The site runs no analytics and sets no tracking cookies; outside the client area, your browser only remembers your language choice. The mobile network you connect to keeps its own records under its own rules, and your crypto payment stays visible on its blockchain. See [who sees what](https://unlistedsim.com/who-sees-what/).

### Will you give my data to the police?

We answer only legally binding orders under the law of Panama, where the operating company is registered. We can only hand over what we hold: the account number, orders, balance, eSIM status and data used, logged-in devices and payment records (coin, network, amount, transaction ID). No name or ID document is linked to an account, and an email only if the customer added one. Requests will be counted in a transparency report, the first in January 2027. Details: [law enforcement requests](https://unlistedsim.com/law-enforcement-requests/).

### Does an eSIM encrypt my traffic?

No. An eSIM is a SIM profile, not a security tool: the mobile network carries your traffic as with any SIM, and the eSIM does not include a VPN. Websites that use HTTPS stay encrypted as usual. Use a VPN if you need to hide your traffic from the network, and check the rules on VPNs where you travel.

### Who runs UnlistedSIM?

eSIMGoat LLC, a company registered in Panama. It sells data-only eSIMs with no ID at checkout, paid in crypto, and publishes the registries on this site. We publish no founding year, team size, customer numbers or reviews, only facts we can show. Legal requests follow the law of Panama. More on [about](https://unlistedsim.com/about/).

## Paying in crypto

### Which cryptocurrencies do you accept?

We accept Bitcoin (BTC), Tether (USDT), USD Coin (USDC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Litecoin (LTC). USDT is accepted on TRC-20 (Tron) or ERC-20 (Ethereum), and USDC on ERC-20. Send each coin only on the network shown on the payment page: funds sent on another network can't be recovered. There is no card, bank transfer or PayPal option.

### Do you accept Monero (XMR)?

No. We don't accept Monero (XMR), and we prefer to say so here rather than at checkout. The coins we accept, BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC, all use public blockchains. How much each one reveals, and how to pay with less exposure, is explained on [pay privately](https://unlistedsim.com/pay-privately/). Sellers that accept XMR, checked in October 2026: [Which eSIM sellers accept Monero?](https://unlistedsim.com/pay-privately/monero/)

### Which crypto reveals the least when I buy an eSIM?

Among the coins we accept, the difference comes mostly from your wallet, not the coin. All of them use public blockchains, where the amount, the time and the addresses are visible. A wallet funded from an exchange account that verified your identity links the payment to you; a wallet you control, not tied to your name, reveals less. Coin by coin: [pay privately](https://unlistedsim.com/pay-privately/).

### What is the minimum top-up?

$10. You top up a prepaid balance, the eSIM is bought from it, and the rest stays for later eSIMs and top-ups. Unused balance stays on your account and never expires, and it pays for new eSIMs and top-ups, but it is not refundable. Plans start at $1.09, so one top-up can pay for several eSIMs and one network fee instead of several. Prices: [pricing](https://unlistedsim.com/pricing/).

### How long does a crypto payment take to be credited?

It is credited after the network confirmations, and their number depends on the coin. The payment table on [how it works](https://unlistedsim.com/how-it-works/) lists the confirmations and their usual times for each coin and network. The eSIM is bought as soon as the top-up is credited, and its QR code appears in your account when it is ready.

### What if I send the wrong amount or use the wrong network?

Funds sent on another network, or in another coin, can't be recovered, so always use the network shown. Send the exact amount too: each top-up is matched to your account by its exact amount. If the amount differs, the payment cannot be matched automatically; write to support from the client area with the coin, the network, the amount and the transaction ID.

### Is the deposit address unique to me?

No. Deposit addresses are currently fixed per network and shared by all customers; your top-up is identified by its exact amount. On the blockchain, anyone can see that your wallet paid that address. We never print the addresses on this website: the payment page shows the one for your coin and network.

## Using the eSIM

### Does the eSIM include a phone number?

No. UnlistedSIM eSIMs are data only: no phone number, no calls and no SMS. Messaging and calling apps work over the data connection with the account you already have, where the local network allows them. Sellers that include a number are compared on [eSIMs with a phone number](https://unlistedsim.com/esim-phone-numbers/).

### Can I still receive bank SMS codes abroad?

Yes, on your home SIM, not on the eSIM. Keep your home SIM active next to the eSIM (dual SIM): texts from your bank keep arriving on your usual number. Your home operator may charge for texts and calls received abroad. Keep data roaming off on the home line to avoid data charges.

### Which phones work with the eSIM?

Phones that support eSIM and are not locked to a carrier: iPhone XS, XS Max, XR or later (Apple), Pixel 3a or later (Google), and the Samsung models on Samsung's official list. iPhones bought in mainland China, Hong Kong or Macao have exceptions. Check before buying: [devices](https://unlistedsim.com/devices/).

### When should I install the eSIM?

Before you leave, at home, on Wi-Fi. Apple says an iPhone must be on Wi-Fi or a hotspot to set up an eSIM, except some eSIM-only models in some countries. For mainland China, installing before entry is required: Apple says foreign eSIMs can't be installed there. Turn the line on when you land. Guide: [how it works](https://unlistedsim.com/how-it-works/).

### Can I use the eSIM as a hotspot?

The hotspot rule of each plan is not yet published, so we do not promise that sharing the connection works. Some travel plans on the market limit or block tethering. If you need to connect a laptop or a travel router, read [using an eSIM in a travel router](https://unlistedsim.com/travel-router-esim/) and ask support before buying.

### Is the eSIM 5G?

We do not claim 5G for our plans. The network generation of each plan is not yet published, so the plan tables show none. Where a destination has 5G networks, a travel eSIM may or may not use them; the plan tables will show it once it is confirmed.

### What happens if I delete the eSIM from my phone?

It may be lost. An eSIM QR code usually works only once, according to eSIM sellers Yesim and eSIMCard, so a deleted profile may not install again, and an installed eSIM is not refunded. Your account can show the QR code again, but we have not published a re-issue policy. Turn the line off instead of deleting it.

### Is "unlimited" really unlimited?

Our unlimited plans carry a fair-use cap: fair use, 2 GB a day at full speed. The speed after that allowance is not yet published, and we do not promise one. If you need a known amount of fast data, a fixed plan of 5, 10 or 20 GB is the safer choice. Prices: [pricing](https://unlistedsim.com/pricing/).

### Can I use a travel eSIM for months in one country?

Plans last 7 or 30 days; for a longer stay, you buy a new plan from your balance. We do not know yet whether our partner networks restrict a line that stays in roaming for months, and we found no published rule for this case (checked 9 October 2026). Some countries have their own rules for long stays, such as Turkey, where foreign phones can be blocked after 120 days without registration. Details: [long stays](https://unlistedsim.com/long-stays/).

## Countries and laws

### Which countries require ID for a SIM card?

Requirements depend on the country, subscription and activation process. The [SIM and eSIM ID rules by country (2026)](https://unlistedsim.com/travel-esim-id-registry/) cites regulators, statutes and operator requirements separately, with explicit unknowns. Its [Europe guide](https://unlistedsim.com/europe-mobile-data-without-id/) compares national rules; EU roaming arrangements do not create one EU-wide identification rule.

### Is it legal to use a travel eSIM without registering it locally?

UnlistedSIM asks for no ID document or required email at checkout. That policy does not establish a country exemption: identification of a local subscription, purchase of a travel profile and its use on a visited network are different questions. The [country registry](https://unlistedsim.com/travel-esim-id-registry/) records their scope, source dates and unknowns. Device-registration exemptions do not establish subscriber-identification exemptions, and no legal conclusion is given.

### Does a travel eSIM work in China without a VPN?

Not tested yet on our plans, so we make no prediction for them. A China travel guide reports that Google and WhatsApp are generally reachable when an eSIM's traffic exits outside mainland China (home routing), and may be blocked when it goes through Chinese networks. We have not published the routing of our China plans. Install the eSIM before you enter mainland China: Apple says foreign eSIMs can't be installed there. Local laws apply. Details: [eSIM in China](https://unlistedsim.com/esim-china-google-whatsapp/).

### Are eSIMs blocked in Turkey?

The eSIMs are not the target; eSIM sellers' websites and apps are. Turkey's regulator (BTK) blocked the sites and apps of at least 35 eSIM providers in July 2025, according to Intellinews. Buy and install before you arrive. Foreign phones can also be blocked after 120 days without registration; sources disagree on whether this applies in roaming. Details: [are eSIMs blocked in Turkey?](https://unlistedsim.com/turkey-esim-restrictions/)

### Can I get mobile data in Europe without ID?

With a local prepaid SIM, often not: 19 of the 28 European countries studied by Cullen International require prepaid customers to register (October 2025). UnlistedSIM eSIMs, including the Europe eSIM, are bought with no ID; travel eSIMs usually connect in roaming. The Europe eSIM covers 49 countries from $1.29. Details: [Europe without ID](https://unlistedsim.com/europe-mobile-data-without-id/).

## Refunds and balance

### Can I get a refund?

Not to your wallet. An eSIM you never installed, or one we could not deliver, is credited back to your UnlistedSIM balance. An installed eSIM is not refunded, even if you never used its data, and the balance itself is not refundable. Check that your phone supports eSIM and is unlocked before buying. The cases one by one: [refunds](https://unlistedsim.com/refunds/).

### Does my balance expire?

No. Unused balance stays on your account and never expires, and it pays for new eSIMs and top-ups, but it is not refundable. You can keep it for your next trip, a data top-up or another destination. Deleting your account erases the balance, so spend it first.

### Can I withdraw my balance in crypto?

No. The balance is not refundable and cannot be withdrawn to a wallet. It pays for eSIMs and top-ups on UnlistedSIM, with no expiry date. Because of that, top up close to what you plan to spend: the minimum is $10, and plans start at $1.09.

### What if my eSIM does not work?

First check the settings: the eSIM line is on, it is chosen for mobile data, data roaming is allowed on it, and you are in a country the plan covers. Then restart the phone. If it still does not connect, write to support@unlistedsim.com. Email replies within 12 hours, 7 days a week, including help with installing and activating your eSIM. The troubleshooting list is on [refunds](https://unlistedsim.com/refunds/).
