A regional eSIM is one data plan for a list of countries: one QR code, one balance, no new eSIM at each border. Here is what each one covers, what it costs, and what it does not do.

**Quick answer**

Yes. **UnlistedSIM**, a no-ID eSIM seller paid in crypto, sells 2 regional eSIMs: **Europe**, 49 countries from **$1.29**, and **Global**, 202 countries from **$5.99**. One plan works in every country of its declared coverage. You need no ID, no selfie and no email to buy one; the local SIM rules of 34 countries are documented separately, with sources.

## How does a regional eSIM work?

You install one eSIM, and its data allowance works in every country of its declared coverage until the data runs out or the validity ends. Crossing a border does not need a new eSIM. In each country, your phone connects to a local network; travel eSIMs usually do this in roaming.

The coverage list on each regional page is the coverage declared for the plan. We have not tested each country. In each one, the eSIM connects to the largest network, named on each [country page](https://unlistedsim.com/destinations/).

## Europe or Global: which regional eSIM do you need?

Choose the Europe eSIM if every country of your trip is in its list, and the Global eSIM if your trip crosses continents. The Europe plans start at $1.29 ($0.89/GB at best); the Global plans start at $5.99 ($1.89/GB at best).

For a trip to one country, compare with that country's page first: a country plan, when one exists, often costs less per GB than a regional one. Use the [destinations](https://unlistedsim.com/destinations/) finder to compare.

## Do you need ID in the countries a regional eSIM covers?

UnlistedSIM asks for no ID document or required email at checkout. That policy does not establish a country exemption: identification of a local subscription, purchase of a travel profile and its use on a visited network are different questions. The [country registry](https://unlistedsim.com/travel-esim-id-registry/) records their scope, source dates and unknowns. Device-registration exemptions do not establish subscriber-identification exemptions, and no legal conclusion is given.

## What does a regional eSIM not do?

We say it plainly, because these are the questions people ask:

- **No phone number:** data only, no calls, no SMS.
- **No 5G claim:** we do not claim 5G for our plans.
- **No published exit IP country yet:** the [exit-IP registry](https://unlistedsim.com/exit-ip-registry/) explains what determines the country your IP appears in. The network each plan connects to is named on each [country page](https://unlistedsim.com/destinations/).
- **No network anonymity:** the checkout is private, but each visited network sees your device identifier (IMEI) and approximate location.
- **Not built for living in one country:** see [long stays](https://unlistedsim.com/long-stays/).

## Questions about regional eSIMs

### Does a regional eSIM work in every country of the list?

It is declared to work in every country of its coverage list, shown on its page. We have not tested each country. In each one, the eSIM connects to the largest network, named on each country page. A country that is not on the list is not covered.

### Is a regional eSIM cheaper than several country eSIMs?

For a trip through several countries, often yes, because you buy one plan instead of one per country. For one country, a country plan is often cheaper per GB. Compare on the country page, where the country plans and the regional plans that cover it appear in the same table.

### Do I need ID to buy a regional eSIM?

No. UnlistedSIM asks for no ID document, no selfie and no email. You top up a balance in crypto from $10 and buy the eSIM from it. The local rules of each country you visit are documented on the country pages and in the Travel eSIM ID Registry.

### Which crypto can I pay with?

Bitcoin (BTC), Tether (USDT), USD Coin (USDC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Litecoin (LTC). We don't accept Monero (XMR). Unused balance stays on your account and never expires, and it pays for new eSIMs and top-ups, but it is not refundable. An eSIM that was never installed, or could not be delivered, is credited back to the balance; an installed eSIM is not refunded.

### In which country will my IP address be with a regional eSIM?

Not necessarily the country you are in. With home routing, the usual setup in roaming, the IP address comes from the home network of the eSIM. We do not publish the exit country of each plan yet; the exit-IP registry explains what decides it.

### Does a regional eSIM include a phone number?

No. Our Europe and Global eSIMs are data only: no phone number, no calls and no SMS. Keep your home SIM active in dual-SIM mode for bank codes, and use messaging apps over data. Plans start at $1.29 for Europe and $5.99 for the Global eSIM, with no ID at checkout, paid in crypto.
