## What does Silent.link offer?

Silent.link sells data eSIMs, and some phone numbers, with no ID and no email. Its home page states a "Zero KYC policy, no data required, not even an email address". The order page is the only way back to an order: there is no account.

- **Payment:** Bitcoin on-chain, Lightning and Monero (XMR). USDT and other coins go through an "Altcoins" button that opens an exchange (Trocador). Its FAQ also describes converting USDT to Lightning through FixedFloat or SideShift. There is no card payment.
- **DATA.PLUS:** data only. You pay $4 for the eSIM and keep a minimum balance of $5. Data is then billed per MB, at the rate of the network you use. The balance never expires.
- **Phone numbers:** US.PLUS gives a +1 number that receives SMS only, for $93 a year plus a $5 balance. IDENTITY plans offer +1 or +44 numbers. There is no classic voice service.
- **Hotspot:** "Hotspot is enabled on all plans", per Silent.link.
- **Coverage:** "160+" countries on its site; its DATA.PLUS rates grid lists 184 countries.

## How much does Silent.link cost compared with UnlistedSIM?

A first Silent.link purchase of 1 GB costs **from $9**: $4 for the eSIM plus the $5 minimum balance. Where 1 GB costs more than $5 at the network's rate, the total is higher: $10.11 for the United Arab Emirates in its rates grid. After that, each MB is billed at the rate of the network you connect to. UnlistedSIM sells fixed plans instead, from $1.09, paid from a prepaid balance.

The two models suit different trips:

- **Silent.link** fits people who want one eSIM and pay only for what they use. Its lowest rate per country was $0.84/GB in Germany, $1.60/GB in the United States, $3.46/GB in Japan and $2.14/GB in India. For Europe, the site says "as low as $0.83/GB".
- **UnlistedSIM** fits people who want a known price for a known amount of data and validity. Japan starts at $2.09 for 1 GB · 7 days.

Our model has a cost that Silent.link's does not: the **minimum top-up is $10**. The plan is bought from that balance, and what is left pays for later eSIMs and top-ups. The balance never expires, but it is not refundable.

### Lowest price per GB in four countries

We sell eSIMs. Our plans are included in this comparison and marked. Silent.link column: the lowest network rate per country in its rates grid. UnlistedSIM column: our plan with the lowest price per GB in that country.

| Country | Silent.link (per MB billing) | UnlistedSIM (ours, fixed plan) |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Germany | $0.84/GB, plus $4 per eSIM | $0.90/GB |
| United States | $1.60/GB, plus $4 per eSIM | $1.01/GB |
| Japan | $3.46/GB, plus $4 per eSIM | $0.99/GB |
| India | $2.14/GB, plus $4 per eSIM | $1.29/GB |

*Checked on October 9, 2026.*

Silent.link also keeps a $5 minimum balance. Our lowest price per GB usually comes from the largest plan of the country; see each country page for every plan.

## Is there a pay-as-you-go eSIM whose balance doesn't expire?

Yes. Silent.link's DATA.PLUS works that way, according to its site: data is billed per MB from a balance that never expires. UnlistedSIM also keeps a balance that never expires, but it is not pay-as-you-go per MB.

Here is the difference in practice:

- **At Silent.link**, the balance pays for data as you use it, at the rate of each network.
- **At UnlistedSIM**, the balance buys fixed plans, such as 1 GB · 7 days for Japan. The plan's data ends with its validity. The money left on the balance does not expire and pays for the next eSIM or top-up.

Neither balance is a bank account. Our rule, word for word: Unused balance stays on your account and never expires, and it pays for new eSIMs and top-ups, but it is not refundable.

## Does Silent.link give you a phone number?

Only on some plans. DATA.PLUS is data only. US.PLUS adds a +1 (United States) number that receives SMS only, for $93 a year plus a $5 balance. IDENTITY plans offer +1 or +44 numbers. Silent.link does not offer classic voice calls.

UnlistedSIM includes no phone number: no calls and no SMS. Keep your home SIM active in dual-SIM mode to receive texts from your bank while you travel. Our [phone-number registry](https://unlistedsim.com/esim-phone-numbers/) lists which travel eSIM sellers include or sell a number.

## Which country will my IP address be in with Silent.link?

According to a tester on the official GrapheneOS forum (21 May 2026), Silent.link uses one exit IP address, and you see it only by asking support. That is a third-party report, not our measurement.

We have not published ours yet either. The exit country depends on how each plan is routed: back to the home network of the issuer, or out locally in the visited country. Until we measure it per plan, our [exit-IP registry](https://unlistedsim.com/exit-ip-registry/) says "not yet published" rather than guessing. If your use depends on the IP country, use a VPN: an eSIM does not itself provide a VPN tunnel or choose your IP.

## Can I pay Silent.link with USDT on Tron?

Yes, but not directly. Silent.link sends USDT and other altcoins through an "Altcoins" button that opens the Trocador exchange. Its FAQ also describes converting USDT to Lightning through FixedFloat or SideShift. Each route adds an exchange step and a third party that sees the swap.

UnlistedSIM accepts USDT directly on TRC-20 or ERC-20, at the same price as every other coin. We also accept USDC (ERC-20), ETH, SOL, LTC and Bitcoin on-chain. Our [pay privately](https://unlistedsim.com/pay-privately/) page explains what each coin reveals on its blockchain.

## When is Silent.link the better choice?

Silent.link fits better in these cases, and we would rather say so:

- **You want to pay in Monero or over Lightning.** Silent.link accepts both. We don't accept Monero (XMR), and our Bitcoin payments are on-chain only.
- **You want no account at all.** At Silent.link the order page is the only access. We use a random account number: no email needed, but it is still an account.
- **You need a number that can receive SMS while you travel.** US.PLUS gives a +1 number for incoming SMS. We sell data only.
- **You want to pay per MB.** DATA.PLUS bills per MB from a balance that never expires, with no plan to choose.
- **You want hotspot written for every plan.** Silent.link says "Hotspot is enabled on all plans". We have not published our hotspot rule yet.

## When is UnlistedSIM the better choice?

UnlistedSIM fits better in these cases:

- **You hold USDT on Tron or Ethereum, USDC, SOL or LTC.** You pay directly at the same price, with no exchange step in between.
- **You want to read country ID rules before paying.** The [Travel eSIM ID Registry](https://unlistedsim.com/travel-esim-id-registry/) covers 34 countries and separates local SIM laws from travel eSIMs in roaming, with sources and check dates. If a local network ever required an ID check for a destination, that plan page would say so before you pay.
- **You want to read what is kept about you.** Our [list of what we collect](https://unlistedsim.com/what-we-collect/) goes field by field. Orders are kept as long as your account exists, so the QR code can be shown again and refunds can be credited, then deleted with the account.
- **You want a fixed price for a fixed amount of data.** Japan starts at $2.09 for 1 GB · 7 days; every plan is on the [pricing page](https://unlistedsim.com/pricing/).
- **You want a clear rule if the eSIM cannot be used.** An eSIM that was never installed, or could not be delivered, is credited back to your balance.

## Silent.link alternative: FAQ

### Is Silent.link really no-KYC?

Yes, at checkout. Silent.link states a "Zero KYC policy, no data required, not even an email address" (checked 9 October 2026), and the order page is the only access. No-KYC covers the purchase, not the network: the visited operator still sees your device identifier (IMEI) and approximate location, with any seller. Our [who sees what](https://unlistedsim.com/who-sees-what/) page lists each party.

### Does UnlistedSIM accept Monero like Silent.link?

No. We don't accept Monero (XMR), and we don't accept Lightning. We accept Bitcoin (BTC), Tether (USDT), USD Coin (USDC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Litecoin (LTC). If Monero is a requirement, Silent.link, PikaSim, nadanada and Stellar eSim say they accept it, and a GrapheneOS forum tester reported the same for VoidMob. See our [comparison of no-KYC eSIM sellers](https://unlistedsim.com/best-no-kyc-esim/).

### How much does a Silent.link eSIM cost?

A first purchase of 1 GB costs from $9: $4 for the eSIM and a $5 minimum balance ($10.11 for the United Arab Emirates in its rates grid). Data is then billed per MB by network. The lowest rates on 9 October 2026 were $0.84/GB in Germany, $1.60/GB in the United States, $3.46/GB in Japan and $2.14/GB in India. The balance never expires.

### Is there a pay-as-you-go eSIM with a balance that never expires?

Yes: Silent.link's DATA.PLUS bills data per MB from a balance that never expires. UnlistedSIM's balance never expires either, but it buys fixed plans with a validity, and the minimum top-up is $10. The data in a plan ends with its validity; the money left on the balance stays for later eSIMs.

### Does Silent.link or UnlistedSIM give me a phone number?

Silent.link does on some plans: US.PLUS gives a +1 number for incoming SMS only, at $93 a year plus a $5 balance, and IDENTITY plans offer +1 or +44 numbers. UnlistedSIM is data only: no number, no calls, no SMS. Keep your home SIM active for bank texts. Our [phone-number registry](https://unlistedsim.com/esim-phone-numbers/) compares other sellers.

### Which country will my IP address be in?

For Silent.link, a GrapheneOS forum tester reported one exit IP address, visible only by asking support (21 May 2026). For UnlistedSIM, we have not published it yet: it depends on whether each plan is routed home to its issuer or out locally. Our [exit-IP registry](https://unlistedsim.com/exit-ip-registry/) will show measured results per plan.

### Can I pay Silent.link with USDT on Tron?

Only through an exchange step. Silent.link's "Altcoins" button opens the Trocador exchange, and its FAQ describes converting USDT to Lightning through FixedFloat or SideShift. UnlistedSIM accepts USDT directly on TRC-20 or ERC-20, at the same price as every other coin, with no exchange in between.

### Do I need an account at UnlistedSIM?

Yes. A random account number is your login. No email is asked at checkout or needed to log in; you may add one in the client area for receipts, reminders or recovery of the account number, and it stays optional. The account holds your balance, your eSIMs and their QR codes. Account deletion is on request from your account, at any time; the account number, its orders and its balance are then erased. Silent.link has no account at all: its order page is the only access.
