Quick answer
How do I buy an eSIM without an email address?
UnlistedSIM sells an eSIM without ID or email from $1.09. Choose a plan, fund your balance in crypto from $10, and save the random account number used for login. The QR and activation code appear in your account when ready. Updated October 2026: email recovery remains optional; without it, protect that account number.
What do I need before I buy?
| ID document, ID number, selfie | None |
|---|---|
| Email address | Not asked at checkout or needed to log in: a random account number generated for you is your login. An email is optional, in the client area |
| Payment | Crypto only: Bitcoin (BTC), Tether (USDT), USD Coin (USDC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Litecoin (LTC); USDT on TRC-20 or ERC-20, USDC on ERC-20 |
| Minimum top-up | $10, credited to a prepaid balance |
| When the balance is credited | After the network confirmations; their number depends on the coin |
| Delivery | QR code and activation code in your account, under My eSIMs, as soon as the eSIM is ready |
| Where to install | On Wi-Fi, before you leave; before you enter mainland China |
| Phone number | None: data only |
| Never do this | Delete an installed eSIM profile |
| If you do not install it | The eSIM can be credited back to your balance |
How do the seven purchase and installation steps work?
Pick a destination and a plan
Find your country in the destination finder, or choose the Europe or global eSIM for a trip through several countries. First check that your phone supports eSIM and is not locked to a carrier: devices.
Top up in crypto, on the exact network
Top up $10 or more in BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC. Send the exact amount shown, on the network shown: USDT on TRC-20 or ERC-20, USDC on ERC-20. Funds sent on another network can't be recovered.
Wait for the network confirmations
Your balance is credited once the network has confirmed the transaction. The number of confirmations depends on the coin: see the table further down this page.
The eSIM is bought from your balance
If you started from a plan, the eSIM is bought as soon as the top-up is credited. What is left stays on your balance for other eSIMs and top-ups.
Open your QR code in your account
The QR code and the activation code appear in your account, under My eSIMs, as soon as the eSIM is ready. No email is needed to get them.
Install it on Wi-Fi before you leave
Scan the QR code from another screen, or type the activation code by hand. Apple says an iPhone must be on Wi-Fi or a hotspot to set up an eSIM, except some eSIM-only models in some countries (Apple 118227).
Turn the line on when you land
Turn the eSIM line on, choose it for mobile data, and allow data roaming on that line. Keep the profile on your phone after the trip: never delete it while the plan can still be used.
What is the account number, and why is no email needed?
An UnlistedSIM eSIM without ID or email still uses an account: a random number is the login, not an email address. Plans start at $1.09. Updated October 2026: email, password and two-factor settings are optional. Without a recovery email, losing the account number can mean losing access to the balance and QR codes.
Keep the account number in a password manager and never publish it in a screenshot or forum post. You can add or remove the optional recovery email in the client area. We never ask for your account number or your eSIM activation code (QR code) by email or chat. The full field list is on what we collect.
How does the crypto payment work?
The checkout runs on a prepaid balance. Deposit addresses are never printed on this website: the payment page shows the one for the coin and network you picked.
Top up $10 or more
Choose the amount and the coin (BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC). The crypto amount and its rate are locked for 30 minutes.
Send it to the address shown, on the exact network
The payment page shows our deposit address for the coin and network you picked: BTC on Bitcoin, USDT on Tron (TRC-20) or Ethereum (ERC-20), USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20), ETH on Ethereum, SOL on Solana, LTC on Litecoin. Send only that coin on that network: funds sent on another network or in another coin can’t be recovered. The network fee comes on top of the amount.
Send the exact amount shown, then click “I’ve sent the payment”
Each top-up has its own exact amount (down to the last decimals): that is how we find your payment and link it to your account.
Credited once your payment is checked on the blockchain
Your balance is credited once we have checked the transaction on the blockchain, after the network has confirmed it. Typical network confirmation times:
Crypto Network Confirmations Usual time BTC Bitcoin 2 ≈ 20 min USDT Tron (TRC-20) 20 ≈ 1 min USDT Ethereum (ERC-20) 12 ≈ 5 min USDC Ethereum (ERC-20) 12 ≈ 5 min ETH Ethereum 12 ≈ 5 min SOL Solana 1 ≈ 1 min LTC Litecoin 6 ≈ 15 min One balance for every product
If you started from a plan, the eSIM is bought as soon as the top-up is credited, and its QR code appears in your account. What is left stays on your balance for top-ups and other destinations. Unused balance stays on your account and never expires, and it pays for new eSIMs and top-ups, but it is not refundable.
Closed the tab? The pending top-up stays under Billing in your account: open it to see the address and the exact amount again.
When should I install the eSIM?
Install it before you leave, at home, on Wi-Fi. Apple's instructions say an iPhone must be connected to a Wi-Fi network or a hotspot to set up an eSIM; in some countries, eSIM-only iPhone models can activate without Wi-Fi (Apple 118227). At home you also have time to ask support if a step fails.
When the validity of a plan starts, at installation or at the first connection on the destination network, is not yet published plan by plan. To be safe, install the eSIM shortly before departure, not weeks ahead, and turn the line on only when you arrive.
Your account keeps the QR code: orders are kept as long as your account exists, so the QR code can be shown again and refunds can be credited, then deleted with the account.
How do I install it on an iPhone, a Pixel or a Samsung phone?
Every compatible phone accepts the QR code or the activation code typed by hand.
- iPhone (iPhone XS, XS Max, XR or later, per Apple 118669): in Settings, open Cellular or Mobile Data, add an eSIM, then scan the QR code or enter the details manually.
- Google Pixel (Pixel 3a or later): Settings > Network & internet > SIMs > Add SIM, per Google's Pixel help.
- Samsung Galaxy (models on Samsung's official list): Settings > Connections > SIM manager > Add eSIM, then scan the QR code or choose "Enter activation code", per Samsung UK. Samsung warns that, depending on the country of origin, eSIM may not work even on a listed model.
Model by model, with the exceptions for phones bought in mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao: devices.
Why must I install before I arrive in China or Turkey?
Because installing on arrival can be impossible in both countries.
- China: Apple states that "eSIMs from non-China mainland carriers can't be installed while located in China mainland" (Apple 123879, published 9 September 2026). Install before you board. Whether Google and WhatsApp work on our China plans has not been tested yet: see eSIM in China.
- Turkey: Turkey's telecom regulator (BTK) blocked the websites and apps of at least 35 eSIM providers in July 2025, according to Intellinews. Buying, opening your account or reaching support from inside Turkey may fail, so buy and install before you leave. Details: are eSIMs blocked in Turkey?
Other countries with purchase, installation or device rules are in the restrictions tracker.
How do I turn the eSIM on when I land?
Turn on the eSIM line, select it for mobile data, and allow data roaming on that line.
- Turn on the eSIM line in your phone's SIM settings.
- Choose it for mobile data. Your home line can stay on for calls and texts: an iPhone with Dual SIM keeps two lines active (Apple 109317).
- Allow data roaming on the eSIM line. Travel eSIMs usually connect to the local network in roaming, and the phone blocks roaming data until it is allowed for that line.
- Keep data roaming off on your home line, or your home operator may bill you for data used abroad. Calls and texts received on the home line abroad may also be billed by your home operator.
No signal after a few minutes? Restart the phone, check that the eSIM line is the one chosen for data, then write to support.
What if something does not work?
Write to [email protected]. Email replies within 12 hours, 7 days a week, including help with installing and activating your eSIM. Describe the phone model, the step that fails and the exact error message. We never ask for your account number or your eSIM activation code (QR code) by email or chat.
If the eSIM was never installed, it can be credited back to your balance; an installed eSIM is not refunded. The full rule is on refunds.
What else should I know?
Do I need an email address to buy an eSIM?
No. UnlistedSIM asks for no email at checkout, and you never need one to log in: a random account number is your login, and the QR code is shown in your account. You may add an email in the client area for receipts, reminders or recovery of the account number; it stays optional. You give no name, phone number, ID document or selfie, and you pay in crypto from $10.
What happens if I lose my account number?
If you added the optional recovery email in the client area, you can use it to recover the account number. Without one, a lost account number cannot be recovered, because nothing else on file shows that the account is yours. Keep the number safe from the start, in a password manager for example. That is the trade-off of an account that holds no identity.
How long does it take to get the QR code?
The QR code appears as soon as the eSIM is ready, after your top-up is credited. The credit depends on the network confirmations of your coin, shown in the payment table on this page with their usual times. We do not promise a delivery time in minutes for the eSIM itself.
Can I buy the eSIM now and install it later?
Yes. The QR code stays in your account: orders are kept as long as your account exists, so the QR code can be shown again and refunds can be credited, then deleted with the account. How long an eSIM can wait before installation, and whether the validity starts at installation or at the first connection, are not yet published plan by plan. Install it shortly before you leave, on Wi-Fi, and turn the line on when you land.
Can I install the same eSIM on two phones?
No. An eSIM profile is downloaded once, to one device, and a QR code usually works only once, according to eSIM sellers Yesim and eSIMCard. If you need data on two devices, buy two eSIMs from the same balance, or share the connection from one phone if the plan allows it.
Do I need Wi-Fi to install the eSIM?
On an iPhone, yes in most cases: Apple says the iPhone must be connected to Wi-Fi or a hotspot to set up an eSIM, except some eSIM-only models in some countries (Apple 118227). That is one more reason to install at home, before you leave.
Will I get a phone number with the eSIM?
No. UnlistedSIM eSIMs are data only: no phone number, no calls and no SMS. Keep your home SIM active next to the eSIM so that bank codes still reach you. Sellers that include a number are listed on eSIMs with a phone number.
Will the eSIM work on a carrier-locked phone?
Usually not: on a phone locked to a carrier, the profile can install but never connect. On an iPhone, open Settings > General > About: "No SIM restrictions" next to Carrier Lock means the phone is unlocked, and only the carrier can unlock it (Apple 109316). Check before you buy.
