Quick answer

Paying for an eSIM with USDT on Ethereum reveals your Ethereum address, the dollar amount and the time to anyone who reads the Ethereum blockchain, along with that address's other tokens and full history. UnlistedSIM, a no-ID eSIM seller paid in crypto, accepts USDT on Ethereum (ERC-20) with no ID and no email at checkout, a top-up from $10 and eSIMs from $1.09. We see the amount and the transaction ID, never an ID document.

What does the Ethereum blockchain show about a USDT on Ethereum payment?

It shows the transaction to anyone, with no login and no time limit.

A USDT payment on Ethereum is a call to the USDT token contract. A block explorer shows the sending address, the receiving address, the amount in USDT, the time and the gas fee paid in ETH.

Ethereum uses accounts. Ethereum.org defines an account as an entity with an ETH balance that can send transactions, and each account keeps a nonce that counts the transactions it has sent. Your address therefore shows, in one place, its ETH balance, every token it holds, every transfer and every contract it has used. If you have attached a public name (an ENS name) to it, that name labels it too.

The blockchain never shows your UnlistedSIM account number, your eSIM or your destination. Those exist only in our records, which are described field by field on what we collect.

Does paying with USDT on Ethereum from an exchange reveal my identity?

To the exchange, yes: the exchange is usually the biggest leak, not the blockchain.

An exchange withdrawal of USDT on Ethereum is recorded against your verified account, with the destination address, the amount and the time. Withdrawing straight to our deposit address puts that address in the exchange's records. Exchanges often take a withdrawal fee: make sure the amount that arrives is exactly the amount shown, because top-ups are matched by their exact amount.

Exchanges verify their customers' identity under anti-money-laundering rules. Guidance from the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) also asks exchanges and other virtual-asset service providers to collect originator and beneficiary information for transfers, the so-called travel rule. A payment sent from an exchange account is therefore tied to a verified name in at least one database, whatever the coin.

Yes. Every payment from the same address is visible in one list, to anyone who looks.

Every payment from your Ethereum address joins the same public history. A fresh address needs ETH for gas before it can send USDT, and the transaction that brings in that ETH links the two addresses. On our side, ETH, USDT and USDC sent on Ethereum all arrive at the same Ethereum deposit address.

Our deposit addresses are fixed per network and shared by all customers. Anyone who knows that address can see every payment it receives, but not which account each payment credited. Treat it as an address that can be linked to UnlistedSIM: we never print it on this site, and it appears only on the payment page of your account.

Which network should I use to send USDT on Ethereum?

Send only on Ethereum (ERC-20), and pick that same network both on the payment page and in your wallet or exchange.

When is USDT on Ethereum a good choice for an eSIM payment?

Good for: Paying in dollars from an Ethereum wallet you already use, such as a hardware wallet or a browser wallet.

Watch out: Gas is paid in ETH and can cost more than the fee on Tron, so keep some ETH in the sending wallet. Tether's terms of service (updated 26 February 2026) allow it to freeze USDT held by a user and to blacklist addresses.

Whatever the coin, the top-up goes to a prepaid balance. The eSIM is bought from it, and the QR code and activation code appear in your account as soon as the eSIM is ready. Unused balance stays on your account and never expires, and it pays for new eSIMs and top-ups, but it is not refundable.

How can I pay with USDT on Ethereum more privately?

Use ordinary, legitimate habits that keep a payment separate from the rest of your financial life:

  1. Pay from a wallet you control, not straight from an exchange account.
  2. Use an address you have never published: not one from a social media profile, a donation page or an invoice.
  3. Keep payment addresses apart from savings and income. On coins that use accounts, one address shows everything it has ever done.
  4. Keep the transaction ID private. Posted in public, it links your address to this payment.
  5. Remember what no coin changes: the mobile network still sees your device (IMEI) and approximate location. Private checkout is not network anonymity; see who sees what.

UnlistedSIM does not accept Monero (XMR). The pay privately guide compares what each accepted coin reveals.

How do I top up with USDT on Ethereum?

The same five steps apply to every coin. For USDT on Ethereum, pick Ethereum (ERC-20) on the payment page.

  1. Top up $10 or more

Choose the amount and the coin (BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC). The crypto amount and its rate are locked for 30 minutes.

  2. Send it to the address shown, on the exact network

The payment page shows our deposit address for the coin and network you picked: BTC on Bitcoin, USDT on Tron (TRC-20) or Ethereum (ERC-20), USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20), ETH on Ethereum, SOL on Solana, LTC on Litecoin. Send only that coin on that network: funds sent on another network or in another coin can’t be recovered. The network fee comes on top of the amount.

  3. Send the exact amount shown, then click “I’ve sent the payment”

Each top-up has its own exact amount (down to the last decimals): that is how we find your payment and link it to your account.

  4. Credited once your payment is checked on the blockchain

Your balance is credited once we have checked the transaction on the blockchain, after the network has confirmed it. Typical network confirmation times:

    CryptoNetworkConfirmationsUsual time
    BTCBitcoin2≈ 20 min
    USDTTron (TRC-20)20≈ 1 min
    USDTEthereum (ERC-20)12≈ 5 min
    USDCEthereum (ERC-20)12≈ 5 min
    ETHEthereum12≈ 5 min
    SOLSolana1≈ 1 min
    LTCLitecoin6≈ 15 min
  5. One balance for every product

If you started from a plan, the eSIM is bought as soon as the top-up is credited, and its QR code appears in your account. What is left stays on your balance for top-ups and other destinations. Unused balance stays on your account and never expires, and it pays for new eSIMs and top-ups, but it is not refundable.

Closed the tab? The pending top-up stays under Billing in your account: open it to see the address and the exact amount again.

Paying for an eSIM with USDT on Ethereum: FAQ

Can I buy an eSIM with USDT on Ethereum without ID?

Yes. UnlistedSIM asks for no ID document, no selfie, no ID number and no email. You top up a prepaid balance with USDT on Ethereum (ERC-20) from $10, then buy the eSIM from that balance. A random account number is your login. Some countries have local SIM registration rules; the Travel eSIM ID Registry lists them with sources.

Is paying with USDT on Ethereum anonymous?

No. The Ethereum blockchain is public: it shows the sending address, the amount and the time to anyone. Your name is not on it, but an exchange that knows your address, or a past payment, can link it to you. We ask for no ID and no email at checkout, yet we keep the coin, the network, the amount and the transaction ID once a top-up is matched.

How many confirmations does a USDT on Ethereum top-up need?

The Ethereum network must confirm the transaction 12 times before your balance is credited. The table in the payment steps above shows the usual time per network. If you started from a plan, the eSIM is bought from the balance as soon as the top-up is credited, and its QR code appears in your account when it is ready.

Who pays the USDT on Ethereum network fee?

You do. The fee is paid in ETH by the sending wallet, on top of the amount shown on the payment page, and it is not taken from your UnlistedSIM balance. Keep enough ETH in the wallet. If an exchange takes its withdrawal fee from the amount, the payment arrives short and cannot be matched by its exact amount.

Can other customers see that I paid?

They can see that a payment reached our address, not that it came from you. Our Ethereum deposit address is shared by all customers, so anyone who knows it can look up every payment it receives. Nobody can tell from the chain which account a payment credited, or who sent it, without already knowing your address. Only our records link a transaction to an account. We answer only legally binding orders under the law of Panama, where the operating company is registered.

What happens if I send USDT on Ethereum on the wrong network?

It cannot be matched to your top-up, and it may be lost. Send USDT on Ethereum (ERC-20) only, and pick the same network on the payment page and in your wallet. If you made a mistake, contact support from your account before sending anything else. Email replies within 12 hours, 7 days a week, including help with installing and activating your eSIM.

Each page explains what one coin reveals, its network and its fee. The pay privately guide compares them all and gives our Monero answer.
