Quick answer
Europe eSIM without ID: the UnlistedSIM Europe eSIM covers 49 countries, from $1.29, and you need no ID to buy it: no ID document, no selfie, no email, payment in crypto. It roams on the largest network in each country, named on each country page, while local SIM cards follow each country's law. Local requirements are national: our Europe guide compares seven EU countries with dated primary evidence and marks other countries unevaluated.

Which countries does the Europe eSIM cover?
The Europe plans cover these 49 countries and territories: Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Guernsey, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Jersey, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Vatican City.
This list is the coverage declared for the plan. We have not tested each country. In each one, the plan connects to the largest network, named on each country page. If a country is not on the list, the plan does not cover it. Countries with their own page: all destinations.
Do European countries require ID for a prepaid SIM?
The No-ID eSIM in Europe guide consolidates the national-source comparison. Germany, Spain, Belgium and Cyprus have regulator or statute evidence; Orange France, TIM Italy and COSMOTE Greece provide narrower operator procedures. Those sources do not establish a universal European rule or the treatment of a foreign roaming profile. Twenty other EU member states remain unevaluated in that guide.
Do local SIM rules apply to the Europe eSIM in roaming?
A travel eSIM may use a profile issued outside the visited network. The antenna carrying the connection does not establish the identity requirements of the issuing subscription. Each source must be read for its own scope: local activation, foreign roaming and phone registration are different cases.
The country registry records specific exclusions where documented and marks unknown treatment explicitly. A missing reference to roaming does not prove exclusion. UnlistedSIM asks for no ID document or required email at checkout; downstream requirements for an exact profile still need verification.
Inside the EU, "roam like at home" was extended to June 2032 (Regulation 2022/612). It protects customers of EU operators. Under the EU fair-use rules, as explained by the Council of the EU and BIPT, the Belgian regulator, an operator may apply a fair-use policy when, over at least 4 months, a customer uses more in roaming than at home. It warns the customer first, and may add a surcharge 14 days later.
What does UnlistedSIM ask when you buy the Europe eSIM?
No ID document, no selfie, no ID number, no email and no phone number: a random account number is your login. No email is asked at checkout or needed to log in; you may add one in the client area for receipts, reminders or recovery of the account number, and it stays optional. You top up a balance from $10 in crypto (Bitcoin (BTC), Tether (USDT), USD Coin (USDC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Litecoin (LTC)) and buy the eSIM from it. We don't accept Monero (XMR).
This is a private checkout; networks still see device identifiers and location. In every country of the list, the network your phone connects to sees your device identifier (IMEI) and its approximate location. An eSIM is not a VPN: use HTTPS and, if needed, a trusted VPN for traffic confidentiality. See who sees what.
Unused balance stays on your account and never expires, and it pays for new eSIMs and top-ups, but it is not refundable. An eSIM that was never installed, or could not be delivered, is credited back to your balance; an installed eSIM is not refunded.
Is the Europe eSIM cheaper than a country plan?
Per GB, often not: a country plan, when one exists, often costs less per GB than the Europe eSIM. The Europe eSIM pays off on a trip through several countries, because one plan saves buying an eSIM at each border: the data allowance is used wherever you are in the list, until it runs out or the validity ends. For a trip to one country, compare with that country's page.
The Europe plans start at $1.29, and the lowest price per GB is $0.89/GB. Country pages show their own plans next to the regional ones, so you can compare on the same table.
Which networks and speeds can you expect with the Europe eSIM?
In each country, the Europe eSIM connects to the largest network, named on each country page: for example, Orange in France. We cannot promise a speed. Each country page also gives the main local operators and the median speed of local subscribers (Ookla, August 2026) where we have them.
A travel eSIM in roaming can be slower than those medians. With home routing, the usual setup in roaming, traffic goes back through the home network before it reaches the internet, and that detour adds delay (IETF). Roaming profiles do not always get the 5G of the visited network, and we do not claim 5G for our plans.
What should you check before you travel?
Check that your phone supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked: iPhone XS, XS Max, XR or later (Apple), Pixel 3a or later (Google), and most Samsung Galaxy S, Z and recent A models, with regional exceptions. Dial *#06#: if an EID number appears, the phone supports eSIM. Then install the eSIM at home on Wi-Fi, turn the line on when you arrive, and do not delete the profile while you still need it. Details: devices.

Questions about the Europe eSIM
Do I need ID to buy a SIM card in Germany, Spain, Italy or France?
Germany and Spain have statutory or regulator identification evidence. Orange France and TIM Italy document operator-specific activation procedures. The Europe guide records the sources and dates. UnlistedSIM checkout asks for no ID document or required email; foreign-roaming scope remains a separate question.
Does the Europe eSIM work in the United Kingdom and Switzerland?
Yes: as of 9 October 2026, both are in the declared coverage of the Europe plan, listed on this page. Only the countries on that list are covered. We have not tested each country. In each one, the eSIM connects to the largest local network, named on the country pages, and we do not promise speeds or 5G.
Is there a fair-use limit when I roam in the EU?
For SIM cards of EU operators, yes: an operator may apply a fair-use policy if, over at least 4 months, you use more data in roaming than at home, and it must warn you first (Council of the EU; BIPT). Our Europe eSIM has its own data allowance and validity, shown in the table. We do not know yet whether our partner networks restrict a line that stays in roaming for months.
Do I need a passport to buy the Europe eSIM?
No. UnlistedSIM asks for no passport, no ID document, no selfie and no email. You top up a balance in crypto and the QR code and activation code appear in your account as soon as the eSIM is ready. Local SIM rules of the countries you visit are documented in the Travel eSIM ID Registry, with sources.
Does the Europe eSIM include a phone number?
No. Our eSIMs are data only: no phone number, no calls and no SMS. Keep your home SIM active in dual-SIM mode for bank codes, and use messaging or calling apps over data. See which travel eSIMs include a phone number if you need one.
Which cryptocurrencies can I pay with?
Bitcoin (BTC), Tether (USDT), USD Coin (USDC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Litecoin (LTC). We don't accept Monero (XMR). You top up a balance from $10, then buy the eSIM from it, and what is left pays for later eSIMs and top-ups. Unused balance stays on your account and never expires, and it pays for new eSIMs and top-ups, but it is not refundable.
What happens if I cannot install the Europe eSIM?
If the eSIM was never installed, or could not be delivered, its price is credited back to your balance. An installed eSIM is not refunded. Check that your phone supports eSIM and is unlocked before you buy. For help, write to [email protected]. Email replies within 12 hours, 7 days a week, including help with installing and activating your eSIM.
